PixelJam 2011
Pixel Jam is a unique three-day learning lab for experts in game development, film, television, music, mobile and new media, which will spawn new and exciting trans-media projects. The goal is to develop a series of original Trans-media concepts with the potential for commercial realization and establish new collaborations between professionals from different media sectors through concrete development tasks.
Pixel Jam is a three day intensive 'hands on' workshop with creative ideas coming together from a variety of professional developers, script writers, directors, game developers etc. The last day sees the the teams pitch their ideas to a panel of producers, distributors and other stakeholders with a view to future cooperation. Pixel Jam takes place this year in the beautiful setting of Kalø Højskole.
My role was to both deliver the opening presentation on 'how to plan, execute and evaluate/measure user involvement in crossmedia cases & pitching techniques' as well as to use my mapping and visualisation tool-kit to help teams concretise their concepts.
